Cosmology-layer audit · extensions
Two more PUM constants investigated on the same pattern as the 25,920 “Great Year” audit — Sun diameter (C17) and the 11.111-year solar cycle (C28). Same three-pass method: modern value, cultural provenance, corpus search across ~920k words of Bendall + patents + Alchemical Science + MFMP.

Read the galactic gear audit and the corpus-search on 25,920 first — the mechanisms established there recur here in slightly different shapes.
Headline finding
The two claims exhibit the same pattern of non-engagement as 25,920, but for interestingly different reasons.
- C17 (864,000 mi Sun diameter) — 864,000 is astronomically real to four figures. IAU nominal diameter 864,576 mi (radius 695,700 km). NASA outreach itself rounds to 864,000. The audit tension here is not “wrong number” but “a measured value carried through the sacred-geometry tradition as a canonical round figure.” The elevation of the exact round figure to a load-bearing constant traces to John Michell’s View Over Atlantis (1969) and Dimensions of Paradise (1988), inherited from Vedic Yuga arithmetic via Blavatsky (864,000 = ⅕ of Mahayuga 4,320,000).
- C28 (11.111-year solar cycle) — 11.111 = 100/9 has no astronomical basis at all. The real Schwabe cycle averages ≈ 11.0 years, range 9–14. Rounding “≈11” up to “11.111” makes the figure less observationally accurate. The number descends through the base-9 tradition (Papus → Blavatsky → Marko Rodin) and is paired with the solar cycle in a single PART 17 line, without a measurement chain.
C17 · Sun diameter 864,000 mi
Modern measurement
- IAU nominal diameter: 864,576 mi (nominal radius 695,700 km, adopted 2015); individual measurements span ~864,300–865,400 mi by limb definition (SOHO 696,342 km → 865,370 mi).
- 864,000 is 0.07 % low vs the IAU nominal — inside three significant figures of any modern value.
- Astronomically, 864,000 is close enough to be defensible as a round figure. NASA Space Place itself uses 864,000 in outreach contexts.
Provenance
| source / era | value / role |
|---|---|
| Vedic Yuga literature | 864,000 = 1/5 Mahayuga 4,320,000 (not tied to Sun) |
| Blavatsky (1888) | 864,000 as “cyclic” number, sacred |
| John Michell (View Over Atlantis 1969) | first ties 864,000 mi specifically to Sun diameter as a “sacred” number |
| Michell (Dimensions of Paradise 1988) | develops the “Christian mystery” number canon around it |
| Hancock, Bauval (1990s–) | carry into mass-market alt-history |
| Bendall (2022+) | tagged “Alien/Sanskrit Mathematics” |
The Michell provenance is important: 864,000 mi as a sacred number for the Sun is a 1969 construction. Vedic literature has 864,000 as a Yuga divisor but never as the Sun’s diameter — because pre-modern Vedic astronomers had no way to measure the Sun’s diameter in miles.
Corpus behavior
- Bendall himself cites 864,000 mi as exact throughout the corpus.
- Softens to “approximately” exactly once — inside a Collin-hosted
interview,
Plasmoids, Water & Transmutation(Alchemical Science channel). The concession does not propagate to other talks. - Jordan Collin engages the gap — the only person in the orbit who does. He invents a self-coined hedge, “root diameter,” and generalises it to all celestial bodies. Defends via Randall Carlson’s “blueprint vs building” analogy (blueprint = sacred number, building = messy measurement).
- Bob Greenyer — zero mentions of 864,000 across all 15 THOR transcripts, including the 5,527-word Hypothesis document. Same total abstention pattern as for 25,920.
- Modern figure 865,370 — stated exactly zero times anywhere in the corpus.
Verdict on C17
ROUND-NUMBER-TRADITION. The figure itself is inside observational precision. What’s audit-flagged is the epistemic move: presenting a measured value’s canonical rounding as an ancient source in itself. This is not the falsification pattern of C16 (where 25,920 is measurably wrong for the current epoch) — it’s a sacred-geometry framing problem.
C28 · 11.111-year solar cycle
Modern measurement
- Real Schwabe cycle: mean ≈ 11.0 years across the 1755–present observation record (SIDC / SILSO), individual cycles range 9–14 yr.
- No convergence on 11.111. The mean has been slowly drifting toward 10.6–10.7 yr in the modern satellite era.
- The cycle is inherently variable — solar dynamo physics gives a quasi-periodic, not periodic, phenomenon.
Rounding “≈ 11” up to “11.111” makes the number less observationally accurate, not more.
Provenance
11.111 does not appear in the historical astronomy record. Its trail runs through number-tradition sources, not astronomy:
| source / tradition | 11.111 role |
|---|---|
| Sacred number 9 (Papus, 19th-c) | digit-reduction to base 9 |
| Blavatsky (1888) | Theosophical arithmetic |
| Marko Rodin (1980s–) | Vortex Based Maths — 1/9 = 0.111… |
| Bendall (2022+) | “Aether-to-Matter conversion factor” = 100/9; then paired with the Schwabe cycle |
The load-bearing patent finding
PART 17 lines 411–413. Bendall first defines:
[(12 AETHER DC/AC MATTER 16) = 1.111 × 10]
— i.e. 11.111 is the arithmetical Aether-to-Matter conversion factor that falls out of the 12/16 lattice (108 / 12 = 9, 1/9 = 0.111…, × 10 = 1.111 × 10 = 11.111). Then the very next line asserts:
“THE SUN CREATES TIME, ITS CLOCK IS THE 11.111 YEARS IT TAKES TO FLIPS ITS POLES.”
The solar-cycle claim is attached to a mathematical definition. The 11.111 doesn’t come from observing the Sun — it comes from the 12/16 conversion ratio inside PUM’s own lattice. The Sun’s observed cycle is then asserted to match the number that the model’s arithmetic requires.
Corpus behavior
- Modern astronomy’s terms — “solar cycle” / “sunspot cycle” / “Schwabe” — appear 0 times across all ~920k words of Bendall
- patents + Collin + Greenyer.
- Jordan Collin declines to carry the 11.111-solar-cycle assertion. He uses 11.111 heavily as unit-conversion arithmetic across ~700k words but never restates “the Sun flips its poles every 11.111 years” in his own voice. This is the most striking single behavioral signal in the C28 audit.
- Bob Greenyer — zero mentions of 11.11 / 11.111 / solar cycle anywhere. Total abstention.
- No Q&A pushback on the number anywhere in the corpus.
Verdict on C28
MATCH-BY-CONSTRUCTION. This is the most isolated of the three cosmology claims audited so far — a Bendall-only assertion that even the channel most engaged with the model presents it without restating.
The mathematical identity 11.111 = 100/9 is real and internally
consistent inside the PUM lattice. The mapping onto the Schwabe cycle
is the audit-flagged move: it takes a quasi-periodic phenomenon whose
mean happens to be near 11 years, rounds it up to a base-9 number,
and calls the match a discovery.
Cross-claim comparison
| mechanism | C16 (25,920 yr) | C17 (864,000 mi) | C28 (11.111 yr) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Measurable discrepancy? | Yes, 0.57 % | No, within 0.16 % | Not a precision claim — phenomenon is inherently variable |
| Modern value in corpus? | 0 hits | 0 hits | 0 hits |
| Modern-astronomy vocabulary? | precession absent | Sun-diameter absent | solar-cycle absent |
| Bendall’s Sanskrit-mass rule applies? | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Sequestered to PART 17? | Yes | Yes | Yes (line 411) |
| Greenyer silence? | Total (0 hits) | Total (0 hits) | Total (0 hits) |
| Collin behavior? | 54 mentions, endorses | Hedges via “root diameter” | Uses arithmetic; declines to carry solar claim |
| Locked in the sexagesimal / base-9 lattice? | Yes | Yes | Yes |
All three mechanisms replicate. The differences are in degree of isolation — C28 is the most Bendall-only, C17 the most astronomically-defensible-at-face-value, C16 the most measurably wrong for the current epoch.

C17 verdict_basis addition:
The figure 864,000 mi is close (0.16 %) to the real Sun diameter of 864,938 mi; NASA Space Place itself rounds to 864,000. The audit-flag is not the number’s accuracy but its lineage: John Michell’s View Over Atlantis (1969) and Dimensions of Paradise (1971) elevated the round figure to a “sacred” Sun-diameter constant, drawing on Vedic Yuga arithmetic (864,000 = ⅕ Mahayuga) via Blavatsky. Bendall softens to “approximately” exactly once in the ~920k-word corpus. Only Jordan Collin engages the discrepancy, via a self-coined “root diameter” hedge + Carlson’s “blueprint vs building” analogy. Greenyer silent. See
_research/cosmology_layer_synthesis.md(published as note 24).
C28 verdict_basis addition:
11.111 = 100/9 is defined in PART 17 line 411 as the Aether-to-Matter conversion factor derived from the 12/16 lattice, then in the very next line asserted as the Sun’s polar-flip cycle. The solar-cycle claim is attached to a mathematical definition rather than derived from measurement — modern astronomy’s terms (solar cycle, sunspot cycle, Schwabe) appear zero times in the ~920k-word corpus. Real Schwabe cycle averages 11.0 yr (range 9–14). Rounding “≈11” up to “11.111” makes the figure less accurate; the base-9 lineage derives from Papus → Blavatsky → Rodin. Jordan Collin declines to carry the polar-flip claim in his own voice — the most isolated cosmology claim audited to date. See note 24.
What this leaves open
- Bendall’s pre-2022 lectures and “parts 17-20 written notes”
hosted at
strikefoundation.earth+randallcarlson.comare not in the local corpus. They may contain more explicit treatment. - Live Q&A 2024–2026 is not in the corpus and is the one venue where someone might press him on either figure.
- The 12/16 = 100/9 derivation itself. PART 17 defines 11.111
from
12 AETHER DC/AC MATTER 16. The relationship 108/12 = 9 and 100/9 = 11.111 is arithmetic, but why the ratio 12:16 = AETHER:MATTER is chosen is not audited yet. That’s a separate line of inquiry into the lattice’s foundational axioms.
